WHAT MAKES A FAMILY HOLY?
Pope Francis’ letter, Amoris Laetitia, explores a central tenant of our faith, that God resides in relationship. Our belief in the Trinity illustrates this foundational belief. The family is where this God-like dynamic is lived out in daily reality. In these challenging times, the family offers a place to find rest for our souls. Here we can receive the renewal of the Spirit as we look deeper into the graces of truth, goodness, and beauty that resides there. From the small circle of the Holy Family we can be inspired in new skills and strengths to respond to the challenges of the world today.
ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE, VICKI SHUCK
We are thrilled to welcome Vicki Shuck back to St. Bridget to create with us as a community again this year. As Fr. Scott has shared in his lectures on Art & Spirituality, the artist is able to offer an experience of God through the visual world. All of the senses are stimulated in a way that invites an opening to the Holy Spirit.
At St. Bridget, we bring artists into our community, inviting God to speak to us in new ways.
