Dear Friends in Christ,
Well, this Wednesday is YOUR turn to share your hopes and dreams for St. Bridget! Pastoral Council, the staff and I are eager to hear your voice and what you have to share. Perhaps it is best for all of us to approach this gathering as a listening session – where WE listen to YOU. This can be the place where we can experience the joys and strengths of our community life and voice our concerns always moving forward to new possibilities.
Our Town Hall Meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. in the Church with prayer. Richard McGrath, Pastoral Council Chair, will facilitate the meeting and we will have a simple format to encourage everyone’s participation. What are the “rules?” First, share something positive about St. Bridget that has deeply moved you and then voice your concern or what you hope to see in the future. Bring constructive ideas. We will be asking everyone to keep their sharing short so everyone can have a turn. (Yes, there will be an official “timer” to keep us on track!) I am excited to have this opportunity to learn more about you and your dreams so we can integrate them into a map for the future of the parish.
